Environment
Our aim at all times is for our operations to have as little impact as possible on the environment. This is governed in part through our ISO certification, but also through our internal improvement measures. During 2018 we took a number of major positive steps through moving to modern, new premises that are heated by district heating instead of oil. Our electricity supply has also been replaced with locally produced, fossil-free electricity from local hydroelectric plants.
Several minor measures were also implemented in connection with the move, including through a collaboration with STENA Recycling. This entails our waste being sorted and recycled to a much higher degree than before. During spring 2019 we were also KRAN-marked by Svenskt Vatten. This means that we support a better environment in that our workplace, meetings and external events are free of bottled water.
The future
So that we can continue to operate our business in the future, it is of the utmost importance that we constantly look for new ways to reduce our fossil footprint. As a step in the right direction, we are hoping to shortly be able to launch a strap which is made partly from recycled polypropylene. Until such time as that can become reality, we hope that all our customers contribute to a better environment by recycling their straps and related components when they are worn out.
